About Amity Community Services
Amity Community Services is a Darwin not-for-profit, established in 1976, offering free counselling to people aged 14 and over affected by alcohol, other drugs, volatile substance use or gambling, and to their families and friends. Counselling begins with a 75-minute consultation, with further sessions agreed individually, and can be delivered by telehealth on request. Amity also runs information, education and training sessions and a 24-hour gambling helpline. No residential or withdrawal service is published.
