About Bayside Health - Alcohol and Drug Support Service (Wonthaggi and Phillip Island)
A free, non-residential alcohol and other drug service run by Bayside Health at Wonthaggi Hospital, with clinics at Phillip Island Community Hospital and the Grantville Rural Transaction Centre. It offers assessment and referral, individual and family counselling, care and recovery coordination, family support groups, SMART Recovery groups, and a needle and syringe program using dispensing machines. Residential withdrawal and rehabilitation are arranged by referral to external services. Intake is through the Access team or ACSO.
