Dhelkaya Health runs a free alcohol and other drugs counselling service from its Castlemaine Campus for people in the Mount Alexander Shire affected by substance use. The team provides counselling, advocacy, personal support and help with strategies for change, and makes referrals on to detoxification units and residential rehabilitation. A needle and syringe exchange operates at the same campus. Referrals are taken directly by phone or email, or through ACSO.
