About Gippsland & East Gippsland Aboriginal Co-operative (GEGAC) - Tanderra Alcohol and Other Drugs Support
GEGAC is an Aboriginal community controlled co-operative in Bairnsdale whose Tanderra service supports people with alcohol, drug, mental health and gambling concerns. The program provides assessment, counselling, health promotion, client education, referral and community linkages on a harm minimisation basis. Referrals come from professionals, health staff, family or the person themselves. Support is free and confidential. No residential beds or withdrawal service is published.
