About Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (AODS) - Hervey Bay
A free Queensland Health community alcohol and other drugs service for the Fraser Coast, run by Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service from The Village Complex on Torquay Road, Pialba. It provides assessment, counselling, case management, referral, group programs and dual diagnosis support, along with opioid treatment, withdrawal support, a needle and syringe program and family support. No referral is needed but an appointment is required. It is an outpatient service with no beds.
