THE SERVICE
Jarrah House is a residential alcohol and drug treatment service for women at Malabar in Sydney, run by the Women's Alcohol and Drug Advisory Centre. It offers a 10-week program built on a dialectical behaviour therapy framework with daily psychoeducation and case management, plus medicated and non-medicated withdrawal. Women may bring up to two children from newborn to school age, with childcare seven days a week and an evidence-based parenting program. It accepts Drug Court clients and women on opioid treatment.
