A free Queensland Health community alcohol and other drugs service based at Mackay Community Health Centre on Nelson Street, run by Mackay Hospital and Health Service. It offers assessment, counselling, withdrawal and harm reduction support, an opioid substitution program, family support, support groups, a needle and syringe program and referral, including for co-occurring mental health problems. Weekdays only, no referral or appointment needed, from age 12.
