About Murrumbidgee Local Health District Drug and Alcohol Services
Murrumbidgee Local Health District delivers publicly funded alcohol and other drug services across southern NSW from community mental health and drug and alcohol centres at Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Deniliquin, Temora, Tumut and Young. The service provides assessment, individual and family counselling, medically supervised home withdrawal, opioid treatment with methadone or buprenorphine, a cannabis clinic, a substance use in pregnancy service and the MERIT court diversion program. Referral is through AccessLine, available 24 hours.
