About Princess Alexandra Hospital - Alcohol and Drug Assessment Unit
A free public alcohol and drug unit on Level 4 of Building One at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Woolloongabba, run by Metro South Hospital and Health Service. It takes people aged 16 and over without a referral, by appointment only, and provides assessment, psychosocial intervention such as counselling, and withdrawal management for alcohol, cannabis and stimulant use. It also acts as an inpatient liaison service for the hospital. It is not residential and does not run opioid treatment programs.
