About Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative - Woongi Unit (Alcohol and Other Drugs)
Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative is an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation in the Goulburn Valley, established in 1980. Its alcohol and other drug service, the Woongi Unit, supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with alcohol or other drug use through crisis support, counselling, prevention and addiction treatment, culturally appropriate health information, referral to specialists, and assistance for families and community. It operates weekdays by appointment from the Mooroopna site alongside the co-operative's bulk-billing medical clinic. No residential or withdrawal program is published.
