About Serenity House
Serenity House is City Mission's sobering up and place of safety facility at Burnie in north west Tasmania. It provides supervised short stay accommodation for adults aged 18 and over whose primary presenting need is substance use, including care for people found intoxicated, place of safety admissions referred by police, and time out stays. The rebuilt site has 20 beds with an awake staff member on duty 24 hours a day.
