About The Farm in Galong
A women-only residential therapeutic community on a three-hectare rural property near Galong, run by a not-for-profit formed in 2017 that took its first residents in 2019. It accepts women aged 20 and over with a drug or alcohol problem of more than two years, and works with mothers whose children are in out-of-home care. The program averages at least twelve months and combines counselling, group work, vocational study, horticulture and animal care.
