About The Hobart Clinic
A 27-bed private psychiatric hospital on seven acres of gardens at Rokeby, on Hobart's eastern shore, run by the not-for-profit and ACNC-registered The Hobart Clinic Association Limited. It admits voluntary adults on GP referral, with most stays two to three weeks. Its addiction service works on harm minimisation and includes an inpatient detox that "can take one to two weeks", monitored by the specialist team, followed by MindHub group courses at Rokeby and in the Hobart CBD. A visiting consultant is an addiction medicine specialist.
