About SalvoCare Eastern The Bridge Programme
The Salvation Army operates the Eastern Bridge alcohol and other drug service, also published as SalvoCare Eastern The Bridge Programme, at The Basin in Melbourne's outer east. It provides residential rehabilitation for people over eighteen affected by substance misuse, generally over a sixteen-week stay. Residents have their own bedroom in shared four-bedroom units. The program uses structured group work and one-on-one case management, and has a gym, recreation spaces and a chapel onsite.
