THE SERVICE
This is the Whyalla office of Drug and Alcohol Services South Australia, the state government's specialist alcohol and other drug service. It operates from the Whyalla Allied and Community Health Building at 20 Wood Terrace on the hospital campus, weekdays, and offers free assessment, withdrawal management, individual counselling, outreach and referral for people with severe or complex alcohol or drug problems. No referral is needed. It is non-residential and has no beds.
