A free Queensland Health alcohol and other drugs service based at Toowoomba Hospital on Pechey Street, run by Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service. It provides comprehensive assessment, brief intervention, treatment planning, case management, counselling, withdrawal management, opioid treatment, a needle and syringe program and referral to residential treatment. It serves adults and their families across the Darling Downs, weekdays, with no referral needed.

Carbal is an Aboriginal community controlled health organisation established in 2002 with clinics across Toowoomba and Warwick. Its addiction support program, based at 632 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba City, provides talk therapy and case management for alcohol, drugs, tobacco and vaping, gambling and medicinal cannabis.
