Alfred Health delivers addiction medicine as part of Alfred Mental and Addiction Health rather than as a standalone alcohol and other drug facility. The service runs an inpatient consultation-liaison team at The Alfred, 55 Commercial Road Melbourne, covering medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care and psychiatry patients, and an ambulatory clinic providing longer-term care including opioid agonist therapy, withdrawal treatment and relapse prevention.
