About Better Health Network - Alcohol and Other Drug Services (formerly Star Health AOD)
Better Health Network runs free alcohol and other drug services across southern Melbourne for people aged 16 and over who live, work or have a connection to Port Phillip, Stonnington, Glen Eira, Kingston or Bayside. It provides individual and family counselling, outreach and case management, nurse-delivered withdrawal in the person's home, pharmacotherapy support, naloxone supply and training, and centre-based and mobile needle and syringe services. Counselling runs from Prahran, South Melbourne, St Kilda, Parkdale, Chelsea and Bentleigh East.
