About Far West Community Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Service - Broken Hill
The Far West Local Health District's community mental health, drug and alcohol team, based at Broken Hill Hospital, provides free assessment, counselling, case management, medication support and crisis intervention for adults with mental illness or alcohol and other drug problems, and for their families. It runs an opioid treatment program offering opioid replacement therapy with harm reduction support, and delivers home visits and virtual and face-to-face outreach clinics across the Far West.
