Centacare's drug and alcohol counselling service runs from 45 Wakefield Street, Adelaide, and is named on SA Health's list of funded alcohol and other drug services. It provides free, voluntary, individualised counselling by appointment to people addressing their own alcohol or other drug use across metropolitan Adelaide, covering brief intervention, harm minimisation, relapse prevention and abstinence support. The same team delivers the Police Drug Diversion Initiative for people diverted by South Australia Police for simple possession.
