About Munda Mia Therapeutic Community
Munda Mia is a 20-bed women's residential therapeutic community operated by Cyrenian House at Kalamunda, about 30 minutes from Perth in the foothills. Women may bring children aged five and under into treatment. The four-stage program uses therapeutic groups, one-to-one counselling, education groups and multidisciplinary case management, and addresses trauma, family and domestic violence, homelessness, parenting and co-occurring mental health concerns. Residents must be alcohol and drug free on entry.
