THE SERVICE
Delmont is an independently owned 88-bed private psychiatric hospital in Glen Iris treating adults 18 and over. Its Substance Use and Addiction Program provides medically supervised inpatient detoxification and withdrawal management, followed by motivational interviewing and relapse prevention, with continuing group treatment through the Delmont Day Program. Estimated inpatient stay is 14 to 21 days. Admission requires referral to an accredited Delmont psychiatrist or addiction specialist. The hospital also runs aged mental health, youth, ECT and TMS services.
