About Galiamble Men's Recovery Centre
Galiamble is a 16-bed residential recovery centre in St Kilda for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men over 18, run by Ngwala Willumbong Aboriginal Corporation. The 15-week structured program uses a twelve-step total abstinence model alongside intensive case management, counselling, cultural programs, relapse prevention, exercise and health activities, and AA and NA attendance. Entry is voluntary or by court referral, and staff support men to reconnect with community on discharge.
