Lives Lived Well runs a non-residential alcohol and other drug service from the Eastbrooke Health Hub at Kirwan in Townsville. It provides free counselling including for young people, psychoeducation groupwork, the Breakthrough for Families program for family members, police court diversion, and community drug and alcohol education evenings, with specific support for methamphetamine concerns. Fortnightly outreach counselling runs at Hinchinbrook. No GP referral is needed.

Centacare North Queensland is the social services agency of the Catholic Diocese of Townsville, working from 410 Ross River Road, Cranbrook and centres at Mount Isa, Bowen, Cloncurry and Normanton. The Townsville centre delivers counselling, family support, mediation, disability and youth services.

A free, non-residential alcohol and other drug counselling service run by Lives Lived Well in Charters Towers. Counsellors visit one day a week, on Mondays, working from the Selectability building in Mary Street, and also provide outreach to Hughenden and Richmond.
