Macquarie Hospital is a 195-bed public mental health facility on a 42-hectare campus at North Ryde, run by Northern Sydney Local Health District. It provides acute adult psychiatric admission through the Henley and Figtree units and non-acute recovery and rehabilitation through Bridgeview, Manning, Tarban House, The Cottages, Lavender House and the Hamilton Unit, along with psychogeriatric services, dual diagnosis services and day programs. Admission is by referral through community mental health teams.
