Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is an independent Aboriginal community controlled health service established in 1992, serving more than 8,500 people across East Arnhem Land from seven clinics and outreach. Its Social and Emotional Wellbeing service addresses family violence, clan conflict, self-harm and alcohol and drug misuse through crisis intervention, early intervention and prevention, and its mental health program places community-based workers in AOD and volatile substance abuse alongside clinicians. Services are walk-in and outpatient.
