THE SERVICE
Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service is an Aboriginal community controlled health service in Katherine, governed by a board elected from Katherine town, Binjari, Rockhole and Myalli Brumby. Its alcohol and other drugs program is outpatient only, run from the Community Services complex at 9 Second Street: individual, family and group counselling, FASD education and support, school and community information sessions, and referral to other services. Staff can collect clients and drive them home. The program is funded through the Commonwealth Indigenous Advancement Strategy.
