About Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (AODS) - Isa House, North West Hospital and Health Service
The public alcohol and other drug service of North West Hospital and Health Service, based at Isa House in Mount Isa and serving north west Queensland. It is a non-residential service providing assessment and triage, ambulatory alcohol withdrawal management, brief intervention and counselling, an opiate treatment program, a needle and syringe program, group education and support for family members. Self-referral is accepted and no GP referral is required.
