About Stagpole Street Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Unit

A residential alcohol and other drug unit at 7-9 Stagpole Street, West End, Townsville, delivered by Pinangba, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led arm of UnitingCare, in partnership with BlueCare. It serves adults whose lives have been affected by substance use, predominantly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from across Queensland and interstate, and provides detoxification and withdrawal, residential rehabilitation, individual case management, counselling, psycho-education, vocational programs and after care. Self-referral is encouraged and transport is provided to people in the program.
