Towards Independence is The Salvation Army's alcohol, other drug and homelessness hub at 62 Whitmore Square, Adelaide. Its published alcohol and drug service is the Warrondi Engage and Link Day Program, a free non-residential program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults offering individual counselling, case management, therapeutic groups, weekly SMART Recovery, gym, art, music and monthly outings, with walk-in self-referral weekday mornings. The same site houses the 24-hour Sobering Up Unit at 62A and Kurlana Padnipadninya transitional supported accommodation.
