About Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (AODS) - Ipswich (West Moreton)

A free Queensland Health community alcohol and other drug clinic run by West Moreton Health from Ipswich Health Plaza. It provides assessment, referral, counselling, information, case management, dual diagnosis support and group programs, plus opioid treatment, a needle and syringe program, family support and support groups. No referral is needed. It runs an opiate replacement clinic and one-to-one counselling for all drug problems, and a youth alcohol and drug team at the same site works with people aged 12 to 25. The same service operates from Goodna, Boonah, Esk, Gatton and Laidley.
