THE SERVICE
A free Queensland Health community alcohol and other drug clinic run by West Moreton Health from Ipswich Health Plaza. It provides assessment, referral, counselling, information, case management, dual diagnosis support and group programs, plus opioid treatment, a needle and syringe program, family support and support groups. No referral is needed. It runs an opiate replacement clinic and one-to-one counselling for all drug problems, and a youth alcohol and drug team at the same site works with people aged 12 to 25. The same service operates from Goodna, Boonah, Esk, Gatton and Laidley.

An Aboriginal community controlled health service in central Ipswich. Alongside its bulk-billing medical clinic and allied health, its Social Health team runs an outpatient alcohol and other drugs program for people aged 18 and over living in the West Moreton region.
