About Youth Empowered Towards Independence (YETI) - Cairns
A specialist youth alcohol and other drug service in Cairns, established in 1995, working with people aged 12 to 25 across Far North Queensland, Cape York and the Torres Strait. From its Bungalow office it provides counselling, psychosocial case management, assertive outreach, youth justice and bail support, school based work and a weekday drop-in day program with meals, laundry, showers and a nurse session. Referral is open and no appointment is needed.
