About Counselling and Treatment Service and Youth Drug and Alcohol Program
A free, non-residential alcohol and other drug counselling service run by Canberra Health Services from the City Health Centre. It provides individual counselling, counselling for family members and carers, and therapeutic and relapse-prevention groups for adults. A parallel Youth Drug and Alcohol Program supports people aged 12 to 25. People refer themselves by phoning the Alcohol and Drug Service intake line, which arranges a phone assessment.
