About The Salvation Army Canberra Recovery Services - Day Program (Canberra Recovery Hub), Braddon
A community-based structured day program run by The Salvation Army at 1 Elder Street, Braddon, for people aged 18 and over affected by alcohol, other drug or gambling problems. It runs on a harm-reduction, non-abstinence basis over twelve weeks in three four-week phases, using cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and motivational strategies, with assessment, care planning, one-to-one work, groupwork, peer mentoring and aftercare. It is co-located with other Salvation Army community services.
