About Clarence Street - Mater Young Adult Health Centre
Mater's youth alcohol and other drug service in South Brisbane, free and voluntary, for people aged 13 to 25. ADAWS provides an 11-day residential withdrawal stay for five young people aged 13 to 21, with individual rooms and round-the-clock staff. Thread offers up to ten weeks of further residential support for 13 to 17 year olds. Axis delivers community counselling and outreach, and a weekday day program runs vocational training and groups.
