About Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Alcohol and Drug Service (QAIAS)
An Aboriginal community controlled residential alcohol and drug service at New Farm in inner Brisbane, run by the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporation for Alcohol & Drug Dependence Services. It provides culturally appropriate rehabilitation accommodation for mainly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults, alongside non-residential treatment and 24 hour counselling. Stays run up to three months. Clients must have completed withdrawal before entry.
