About Palmerston Farm TC

Palmerston Farm TC is Palmerston Association's therapeutic community on a semi-rural property at Wellard, south of Perth. Residents move through a modified stabilisation and detox stage, then three staged treatment phases built around group work, counselling and a daily work program of gardening, cooking, cleaning and maintenance. Men and women are accommodated separately. A fourth transitional stage and three Perth transitional houses support the move back to work or study.

Who they help: Adults with alcohol and other drug dependence who are physically able to take part in a work-based therapeutic community and whose mental health is stable on prescribed medication
