THE SERVICE
Residential rehabilitation in Mackay for men and women aged over 18 who have already withdrawn from alcohol and other drugs. Residents live in shared housing and attend group sessions on addictive behaviour, triggers and relapse prevention, alongside counselling covering addiction, relationships, grief and gambling, and life skills work such as budgeting and goal setting. Transport to external appointments and to AA and NA meetings is provided, with outreach and continuing care available before and after the residential stay.

Binbi Yadubay is a Lives Lived Well residential alcohol and other drug service at Parkhurst, north of Rockhampton, funded by Queensland Health and opened in December 2021. It has 42 places: 32 residential rehabilitation, eight withdrawal and two family units for parents with children under ten.
Gumbi-Gumbi is an Aboriginal community-controlled corporation in Rockhampton running residential withdrawal, a residential rehabilitation program and non-residential rehabilitation for people affected by alcohol, other drugs and volatile substances.
