Living Free is a 12-month live-in residential program run by Teen Challenge SA near Strathalbyn on the Fleurieu Peninsula for men aged 18 and over with drug and alcohol dependence. It is Christian-based and abstinence-only, combining weekly one-on-one counselling, group and individual studies, mentorship, daily devotions and church attendance with household, cooking and gardening duties. Residents cannot leave unaccompanied; family phone calls and approved weekend visits are scheduled.
