About The Woolshed
The Woolshed is a residential therapeutic community run by Drug and Alcohol Services South Australia on a 28-hectare rural property near Strathalbyn. It takes men and women aged 18 and over who have at least a two-year drug or alcohol history and have completed withdrawal at a DASSA inpatient unit. The program runs three to six months and combines a normal working week, counselling, group work, craft and recreation, with halfway houses in Adelaide supporting transition.
