A 14-bed community-based residential withdrawal unit run by The Salvation Army at Corio, on Wadawurrung lands, providing medically assisted withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs over a stay of six to ten nights. The Barwon service also runs non-residential assessment, individual counselling, care and recovery coordination, aftercare outreach and case management from the same site, plus a program for women experiencing homelessness. Admission is through Victoria's centralised DirectLine intake.
