About Alcohol and Other Drugs Service - Tweed Community Health

Northern NSW Local Health District runs an outpatient alcohol and other drug service from Tweed Community Health Centre on the former Tweed Hospital campus at Tweed Heads. It offers individual counselling to reduce or stop alcohol and other drug use, opioid treatment with methadone or buprenorphine, a needle and syringe program, family support, support groups and referral on to other services. Appointments are made through the Tweed Heads intake line. Inpatient withdrawal is provided elsewhere in the district.
