About Weave Youth & Community Services
Weave is a Waterloo-based community organisation founded in 1976 by local Aboriginal women. Its addiction-relevant service is the Speak Out Dual Diagnosis Program, which supports people aged 12 to 28 who have co-existing mental health and alcohol or drug concerns. Support is non-residential and open-ended: individual casework and counselling, trauma-informed practice, art and therapeutic groups, and help with housing, legal matters, education and cultural connection. No diagnosis or formal referral is required.
