About Western NSW Local Health District Drug and Alcohol Services
Western NSW Local Health District runs community alcohol and other drug services from thirteen towns including Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst, Bourke, Mudgee, Parkes and Lightning Ridge. It provides assessment and counselling, the Opioid Treatment Program dosed through clinics, hospitals and pharmacies, a cannabis clinic at Orange and Bathurst, the MERIT twelve-week court diversion program, a youth service for ages twelve to twenty-five, a pregnancy and parenting program, hospital consultation liaison and referral to withdrawal and residential rehabilitation.
