About William Booth House - Residential Rehabilitation
The Salvation Army's residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation program for men and women aged 18 and over, run from William Booth House in Surry Hills since 1922 and known as the Bridge Program. It uses one-to-one case management, cognitive behavioural therapy, twelve-step work and motivational strategies, and treats alcohol, other drug and gambling dependence. From August 2025 the program has been delivered at Dooralong Transformation Centre while the Surry Hills building is refurbished.
