About Adolescent Drug Withdrawal Unit (ADWU), Ted Noffs Foundation ACT

The Adolescent Drug Withdrawal Unit is a short residential withdrawal service for young people aged 13 to 18 run by the Ted Noffs Foundation at its Watson site in Canberra, alongside the three-month PALM rehabilitation program. Stays run up to fourteen days and the withdrawal support is expressly non-medicated. The program covers mood management, relapse prevention, life and group skills, employment support and training, with continuing care afterwards.
