About Canberra Recovery Services
Canberra Recovery Services is a Salvation Army residential rehabilitation centre in Fyshwick for people aged over 18 with alcohol, other drug or gambling dependence. Residents must have completed withdrawal before entry. The three-month Foundations Program runs as three four-week phases, Connect, Grow and Live, using cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and motivational approaches, with case management, peer mentors and aftercare. The Salvation Army also runs a Braddon day program and transitional housing.
