About Alcoholics Anonymous Australia
A national mutual-aid fellowship, not a treatment provider. AA Australia coordinates more than 2,000 weekly face-to-face meetings across the country, plus online meetings, telephone support, live chat and member home visits, and runs a 24-hour helpline on 1300 222 222. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees; meetings are funded by voluntary member contributions. No detox, medical care or beds are provided.
