About SMART Recovery Australia

SMART Recovery Australia is a national charity running free, weekly peer-support meetings for people wanting to change problematic or addictive behaviour, including alcohol, other drugs, gambling and eating disorders. Meetings run 60 to 90 minutes, are guided by a trained facilitator, and follow a set structure of check-in, discussion using cognitive behavioural tools, sharing solutions and checkout. Meetings run in person at partner venues and online by video, audio or chat. No referral is needed.
