Counselling Online is a free national online service for people in Australia affected by their own or someone else's alcohol or other drug use. It offers 24/7 text-based chat counselling with qualified alcohol and drug counsellors, email support, a 28-day SMS support program, a moderated peer support forum and self-assessment tools, and refers callers to state and territory Alcohol and Drug Information Services. It is a Turning Point service funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health. Operating since 2006.
